The California Psychology Center (CPC) is a group private practice offering virtual therapy for anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, trauma, and couples’ challenges. Our psychologists specialize in evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and compassion-based approaches.

Psychologists practicing through CPC have optional opportunities throughout the week for consultation, embracing a “therapy for the therapist” model that fosters mutual support around clinical cases and navigating stuck points.

Compensation

CPC offers one of the most competitive compensation models in the Bay Area. Licensed clinical psychologists begin at 66% of each session fee, translating to an annual income between $178,200 and $247,500, depending on session length, client insurance, and a 20-patient weekly caseload over 50 weeks.

We value long-term relationships with psychologists practicing through CPC. Compensation increases over time:

After 2 years: Earn 68% of session fees.

After 5 years: Earn 70% of session fees.

In-Network with Aetna Insurance

Accepting insurance allows our psychologists to provide evidence-based therapy to a broader range of clients than is typical in many private-pay practices. We partner with universities, counseling centers, and healthcare systems across the Bay Area, serving students, trainees, professionals, and families using their insurance benefits.

CPC is in-network with Aetna, helping make high-quality psychological care more accessible while supporting a thriving private practice.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking licensed clinical psychologists who:

  • Have completed an APA/CPA-accredited internship or fellowship
  • Hold a current California psychologist license
  • Have experience treating anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, eating disorders, trauma, depression, and college students
  • Are experienced with CBT, ERP, ACT, and other evidence-based approaches
  • Have a compassionate and genuine approach to therapy
  • Are interested in lifelong learning and practicing within a connected community of colleagues
