Katie Cronin, MS

Clinical Practice Manager

Meet Katie Cronin

Katie Cronin is the Clinical Practice Manager at the California Psychology Center, where she plays a pivotal role in supporting both clients and providers. She helps clients navigate their first steps in care by conducting brief phone evaluations, introducing them to clinic policies, and managing the practice’s waitlist. Additionally, Katie performs insurance courtesy checks and works closely with Aetna to assist with claims, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.

Katie is also a key resource for the CPC team, assisting providers by ensuring they have accurate and up-to-date client information, managing administrative tasks to reduce their workload, and facilitating smoother insurance processes. Her work allows providers to focus more on delivering exceptional clinical care, knowing the operational details are well-managed.

Katie earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hamilton College in 2021. Following graduation, she worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Cancer Outcomes Research and Education Program, gaining valuable experience in both research and patient care.

Currently, Katie is a second-year doctoral student in the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium and a practicum student at the Palo Alto VA’s Mental Health Clinic. Her favorite part of her role at CPC is collaborating with the practice’s dedicated psychologists and helping create an environment where both clients and providers can thrive.

Originally from Massachusetts, Katie is a lifelong runner and an enthusiastic Boston sports fan.
